1. Acceptance of the Terms and Legal Capacity

By registering, accessing, or using the platform PRG Strength Coach, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and you expressly and without reservation agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of these provisions, you must immediately refrain from using the platform and stop using all of its services.

⚠️ 2. MEDICAL AND SPORTS LIABILITY WAIVER (ASSUMPTION OF RISK)

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING ANY TRAINING.

Powerlifting and high-intensity resistance training are physical activities that carry inherent risks of serious injury, permanent disability, or, in extreme cases, death.

  • Not a substitute for medical advice: The software, its algorithms (including calculations of e1RM, K-Factor, intensity zones, and tonnage), and the information provided do not constitute medical, physiotherapy, or professional health advice. Each user must obtain clearance from a licensed physician before undertaking a strength program.
  • Full assumption of risk: You voluntarily assume all responsibility and risk associated with performing any workout programmed on the platform, including poor technique, excessive load, joint or muscle injuries, rhabdomyolysis, or any other harm to your health.
  • No liability for the platform: PRG Strength Coach, its developers, owners, and associated staff shall not under any circumstances be civilly or criminally liable for direct or indirect personal injury, accidents, property damage, or health conditions suffered by coaches, self-managed athletes, or linked athletes as a direct or indirect result of using this application.

3. User Roles and Data Ownership

Our platform operates through a system of differentiated technical role assignment:

a) Coach role: Intended for professional strength coaches. This user may create training templates, log workouts, and manage athlete team structures under the contracted plan. The Coach represents that they hold the certifications and competencies required to prescribe physical exercise.

b) Athlete role: Users linked to a Coach who view their weekly training plan, log actual loads, enter RPE/RIR, and upload lift videos. The relationship is bilateral: if they unlink, the athlete keeps their training history on their personal profile, but exclusive templates and the intellectual property of the workout design belong to the Coach.

c) Athlete & Coach role (Self-Coached): Intended for self-coached lifters who program their own loads, metrics, and workouts, operating independently with direct access to the calculators and charts provided.

4. Accuracy of Tools and Calculations

The platform includes advanced algorithms aimed at high-performance sport:

  • 1RM estimate (e1RM): Estimated maximum-strength projections are based on standardized mathematical formulas applied to the weight and RPE/RIR entered by the athlete. These projections are for guidance only and do not guarantee the actual physical ability to lift that load.
  • Variation Tonnage: Accumulated volume and tonnage include competition movements (squat, bench press, and deadlift) together with their associated secondary variations, which makes training stress easier to manage.
  • Media upload: Athletes may upload links or demonstration videos of their lifts for their coach's technical analysis. The platform does not actively moderate content, and users are responsible for not uploading material that is offensive, illegal, or infringes third-party copyright.

5. Plan Structure and Team Capacity

Access to features depends on the plan type selected, based on the number of athletes managed or the profile type:

  • Starter Plan: Lets you manage up to 15 active athletes, with the training plan editor and the athlete app enabled.
  • Growth Plan: Lets you manage up to 40 active athletes, with the full exercise library and advanced metrics enabled.
  • Pro Plan: Supports managing up to 70 active athletes, automated 1RM calculations, and advanced reusable templates.
  • Elite Plan: Built for large academies of up to 120 active athletes, with priority technical support.

* New coaches have a permanent free capacity limited to managing up to 3 active athletes at a time.

6. Payment Processing

All monetary transactions and recurring subscription processing are handled externally and securely through Mercado Pago, Paddleand, on legacy accounts, Lemon Squeezy, depending on the payment gateway the plan offers at the time of purchase.

• Billing currency: Coach plans are billed in Argentine pesos (ARS) via Mercado Pago for coaches in Argentina, and in US dollars (USD) via Paddle (Merchant of Record) for international coaches. Lemon Squeezy may apply only to legacy subscriptions until migrated.

• Annual Billing: Plans purchased on an annual basis apply a 16% off on the consolidated monthly cost.

• Plan change (Upgrade or Downgrade): To change plans (for example, from Starter to Growth, from Growth to PRO, from Elite to Starter, or vice versa), the user must cancel the current subscription through your active gateway (Mercado Pago or Paddle, as applicable) and subscribe to the new plan at the full price of that plan (monthly or yearly, as chosen). The system can automatically cancel the previous subscription when the change starts from the settings panel.

• No Proration or Refunds for Remaining Days: No credits, prorations, or proportional refunds apply for unused time on the previous plan. If the user changes plans before the already-paid cycle ends, does not recover the proportional share of that period. The new plan is billed in full from the time of purchase.

• Athlete limits after a downgrade: If the coach exceeds the new plan's athlete limit when downgrading, the account may end up in read-only mode (without creating or editing training plans) until they remove athletes or switch back to a plan with enough capacity.

• Plan Transition Control (Anti-Duplicate): When changing plan or billing interval (monthly/annual), the system cancels the prior subscription on the relevant gateway before creating the new one, to prevent duplicate or overlapping charges.

• One gateway per paid period: You cannot keep active subscriptions or prepaid periods on Mercado Pago (ARS) and Paddle (USD) at the same time. If one gateway has a current paid period, the other stays locked until it ends, to avoid double billing or account inconsistencies.

• Billing cycle change (Monthly ↔ Annual): Switching from monthly to yearly, or from yearly to monthly, is handled the same way as a plan change: cancellation of the current subscription and purchase of the selected plan on the new billing cycle, at the corresponding full price.

• Reactivation after a Failed Charge: If the gateway cannot collect a renewal (insufficient funds, expired card, etc.), PRO access may be suspended temporarily. Once payment clears, you can restore access by syncing from Settings or on the next system check.

• Voluntary cancellation: Canceling the subscription from the dashboard stops the next charge on the corresponding payment gateway. The plan already paid for stays active, with its athlete slots, until the end of that monthly or annual cycle. When it expires, the account moves to the free plan of up to 3 athletes.

• Refunds and Reimbursements: The platform does not refund cash for unused or remaining periods when you cancel, end your subscription, or change plans. There are no stored credits or balances for remaining days, nor for gaps between ARS/USD lists or exchange rates, except where we expressly resolve a proven billing error or mandatory law requires it.

• Failed Charges: In the event of duplicate debits or improper charges attributable to a proven technical failure, the administration will process the corresponding correction and refund in accordance with the policies of the payment gateway used and applicable consumer-protection law.

Dual currency (ARS and USD), price lists, and exchange rates

PRG Strength Coach sells the same software plans through two independent price lists: Argentine pesos (ARS) via Mercado Pago and US dollars (USD) via Paddle (Merchant of Record). We do not sell foreign exchange or guarantee permanent mathematical parity between the lists.

  • Authoritative price at payment: The amount, currency, and taxes shown at checkout and on the gateway receipt (Mercado Pago, Paddle, or legacy Lemon Squeezy) override any indicative figures on the site, app, or promotional emails.
  • Reference exchange rate (informational only): On the English site or pricing page we may show an approximate reference rate (e.g. ARS per 1 USD) to compare plans. That value is indicative, may change without individual notice, and does not require converting an ARS charge to a USD equivalent or vice versa.
  • Independent adjustments to each list: We may change ARS prices, USD prices, or both at different times due to inflation, FX regulation, processing costs, taxes, or commercial decisions. A change in one currency does not automatically imply the same percentage in the other.
  • No “difference” refunds for FX gaps: We do not grant credits, adjustments, or refunds for gaps between what you expected to pay in one currency and what was actually charged in another, nor for market FX moves versus our informational reference.
  • No subscription conversion between currencies: You cannot “transfer” a paid period from ARS to USD (or the reverse). To switch currency you must finish the current period on the active gateway and purchase again on the other at that list’s full price.
  • Taxes and gateway charges: Paddle acts as Merchant of Record in USD and may include VAT or other taxes depending on your country; Mercado Pago processes in ARS under Argentine rules. Bank fees, card-issuer conversion spreads, or withholdings outside PRG’s control are not refundable by us.
  • Display errors: If we find a material error in published prices, we may correct the site and future charges; this does not entitle you to the erroneous price on renewals already processed or completed transactions, unless mandatory law says otherwise.
  • Renewals: Recurring subscriptions renew at the then-current price on the same gateway and currency when charged, unless the gateway or applicable law requires additional advance notice.

More on foreign-currency refunds: Refund policy.

7. Technical Trial Period (Trial)

When an account is registered as a Coach, a temporary evaluation license is turned on automatically for 21 consecutive days corresponding to the PRO Plan, without requiring credit card details or payment credentials. Once that period ends, the user may subscribe to a paid license or continue on the reduced complimentary free plan of up to 3 athletes.

8. Service Suspension for Breach

Nonpayment of the monthly or annual subscription after the corresponding payment gateway's automatic collection attempts will automatically restrict and downgrade the profile. We also reserve the right to unilaterally terminate access to accounts that engage in piracy, scraping, improper sharing of Coach licenses with third parties, or bulk uploads of fraudulent data.

9. Cascading Account Deletion

In full compliance with international standards of privacy and informational self-determination, users may request the complete removal of their account from the control panel. This procedure performs a logical and physical "cascade" deletion, permanently and irreversibly removing the profile, lifting history, associated videos, coach-athlete relationships, and any trace of the account from the Firebase databases.

10. Email Communications

By registering on the platform, you agree that PRG Strength Coach may use the email address associated with your account to send you communications related to the service, including —without limitation— operational notices, product updates, feature updates, informational content from the powerlifting ecosystem, and promotional or commercial communications about the platform, its plans, benefits, events, or partnerships related to the service.

  • Transactional communications: messages required to operate the account (access, billing, security, and material service changes) may be sent even if the user has not requested commercial communications.
  • Promotional communications: news, launches, success stories, invitations, or promotional material from PRG Strength Coach and their community.
  • Opt-out: may request to stop receiving promotional communications at any time by writing to facurogala2@gmail.com from the same email registered on the platform, or via the unsubscribe link included in promotional emails when available.
  • No assignment to third parties: we do not sell or transfer your email address to third parties so that they may send you advertising unrelated to PRG Strength Coach.

11. Administration Authority (Control Panel and Support)

The platform has a centralized administration panel ("Administration Panel") reserved exclusively for authorized operators. Through this panel, the administration of PRG Strength Coach exclusively and indisputably reserves the following control and support powers:

  • License modification and grant: The administration is technically authorized to manually activate, extend, reconfigure, or suspend the status PRO (in any of its tiers: Starter, Growth, PRO, Elite) and their expiration periods for any Coach account. This is done for technical support, commercial courtesy, promotions, or to resolve billing disputes.
  • Operational monitoring and auditing: In order to keep the database stable and prevent abuse of the system, the administration collects aggregated internal notifications of events (new signups, voluntary cancellations in Mercado Pago, athletes exceeding the plan limit, and audit records).
  • Exceptional intervention for abuse: The administration reserves the right to intervene in profiles that breach the platform's operating rules or jeopardize the intellectual property of the software or of third-party coaches.

12. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI Liability Disclaimer)

The platform includes software tools and assistants based on artificial intelligence (AI) to help structure training plans, import routines, and generate suggestions. By using these tools, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • For guidance only: Responses, suggestions, and automatic translations generated by AI are for guidance and information only. They do not constitute qualified professional advice, and they are not infallible or free of error.
  • Mandatory Coach Review: It is the sole and mandatory responsibility of the Coach or the qualified Athlete to review, correct, validate, and adapt any workout or technical suggestion generated by AI before it is prescribed or physically performed.
  • Exclusion of Liability for AI Errors: The platform disclaims all civil, commercial, and health liability for losses, physical injuries, overload failures, or methodological discrepancies resulting from the use or direct application of suggestions produced by the AI assistants.

13. Storage Fair Use Policy (Fair Use)

To ensure the stability and speed of the platform, video and image uploads are subject to a fair use policy. Users (coaches and athletes) agree to upload only video clips of effective sets or relevant technical lifts (recommended clips of 10 to 30 seconds). Using the platform's storage to host unedited full workouts, unnecessarily high-resolution videos, or files unrelated to the software's sporting purpose is strictly prohibited.

14. Ownership and License for Lifting Videos

The Athlete retains at all times the intellectual property and image rights in the videos uploaded to their account. However, by uploading multimedia content to the platform, the Athlete grants PRG Strength Coach and to their linked Coach a limited, non-exclusive, free, international license to store, reproduce, trim, and technically display that video solely to provide technical feedback and sports analysis. Uploading material that infringes third-party copyrights, contains commercially protected music, or includes illegal or offensive content is strictly prohibited.

15. Safekeeping of Training Plans and Backups

Although the platform implements reasonable technical measures and periodic automatic backups to protect database integrity through Google Firebase servers, the platform does not guarantee absolute immunity against data loss caused by hardware failures, network issues, or accidental deletions by users themselves. Each Coach is solely responsible for keeping records or external backups of their most critical training plans and historical results.

16. Trial Limits and Duplicate Accounts

The benefit of the free technical evaluation period (Trial of 21 days) is strictly limited to **a single period per natural person**. Registering multiple fictitious Coach accounts, or systematically reusing different email addresses by the same user in order to fraudulently avoid paying for premium subscriptions, is expressly prohibited. If this behavior is detected, the administration may immediately suspend or terminate all accounts involved, without prior notice.

17. Indemnification Clause

The user agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PRG Strength Coach, its developers, owners, employees, and agents against any claim, demand, liability, loss, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to: a) misuse of the platform, b) any physical injury or health harm to your own or linked athletes, c) billing disputes between a Coach and their athletes, d) expectations of parity, conversion, or refunds between ARS and USD prices or between price lists, or e) any breach of these Terms and Conditions.

18. Jurisdiction and Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws in force of Argentine Republic. In the event of any discrepancy, dispute, or claim arising from use of the platform or the interpretation of this text, the parties voluntarily submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Ordinary Courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, waiving any other venue or jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer resident in the UK, the European Union, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection rules, nothing in these terms limits the non-waivable rights granted by the law of your country of residence.

19. Marketing measurement (see Privacy Policy)

The site may use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and Microsoft Clarity after you consent to cookies, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can choose “Essential cookies only” to reject measurement; Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and Microsoft Clarity run only if you choose “Accept all cookies”.
